We carry out a range of services across the Aviation industry in conjunction with Airways. Including airside fault finding, IR improvements both on primary and secondary cables, cable replacement, new installs, lighting repairs, and maintenance.

Most of this work is done around active runways and Aircraft maneuvering areas requiring us to be trained and competent in navigation, communication, and airfield safe working practices for our industry.

Including relevant CAA and ICAO standards.

Five-Step Electrical Inspection and Testing Process

To provide the electrical certificate of compliance in Auckland, we follow the following steps to test and tag in Auckland:

  • Enquiry – Once you have made electrical testing booking for your Auckland site, we will schedule an appointment.
  • Visual Inspection – Our PAT test specialist in Auckland will carry out a visual inspection of all your tools and appliances to identify all obvious problems. About 90% of faults are identified during this initial inspection.
  • Test using Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) – We test all electrical equipment using AS/NZS3670 standards-compliant PAT tester.
  • Tagging – If an appliance passes the electrical testing phase, the technician will fit a durable, non-reusable tag. If the equipment fails any part of the testing process, we will advise of the next steps to either repair or dispose of the appliance.
  • Report – Once the testing is completed, we will provide a report outlining the items tested and the respective results. Each appliance is numbered and assigned a barcode for future testing. We can also provide an electrical certificate of compliance for your Auckland site.
